Homemade Chocolate Cupcake Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs

Preheat the oven to 350 degree and line your cupcake tin with Halloween cupcake liners. Combine the cupcake ingredients, mixing well. Fill each cupcake about 3/4 full. Bake for 20-23 minutes.

Once you have your cupcakes baked and cooled completely, apply your icing to the top.

For the bat wings you will want to break your chocolate cookies in half. You need half circles to make the wings look proportionate.

If you use sandwich cookies like shown, you will want to pry the cookie apart and use a knife to scrape off the filling.

add-candy-eyes

Once you place your cookie wings in the frosting, standing up as shown, it is time to add the eyes. You can find edible eyes candy in the baking aisle of most grocery stores.  Add the eyes to the front of your cupcake. Gently press into place and the icing will hold them on.
