Corn Maze at Hall’s Pumpkin Farm

Last night I took the kids to a corn maze.  I had no idea that a corn maze within the Dallas – Fort Worth area of Texas even existed.  Brandy always blogs about visiting her local corn maze in New Hampshire with her family and when she shares her photos it looks like so much fun.  This Fall I got a little addicted to visiting all these local Pumpkin Patches, taking fun photos and going on free hay rides.  When I was tweeting about how I’d love to visit a corn maze several other locals thought I’d have to take quite a drive to find one.  Thankfully a friend of mine knew exactly where one was.  Not far at all in Grapevine, Texas is Hall’s Pumpkin Farm where they not only have a pumpkin patch, plenty of photo opps and roasted corn, they also have a giant corn maze.

We paid $5 per person to go through the maze.  I believe children 3 and under are free.  We had a blast.  I was very impressed with the two acres of twists, turns and dead ends.  Several times I was sure we were coming to the exit just to find out it was another dead end.  Gabby was having fun running through the maze trying to find our way out while I was snapping photos of all the different corn stalks.  My mom even went with us too.

Have you ever gone through a corn maze? I can’t wait until we go again next year!

  1. I’ve been going to Hall’s for the last 4 years to get pics taken w/ my dogs and then my son for the last 2 years. It is a very fun place and great picture opps too!

  2. How fun! Dave and I keep putting off getting our pumpkin, but it looks like we can do the maze and get a pumpkin all in one place 🙂 We might go tomorrow!
